Hellene is a Brand Designer and Creative Director with extensive experience making identities and content for high-profile brands. After 15+ years designing and managing quality control for New York’s big agencies (Grey, DraftFCB, AKQA, and DDB are just the tip of the iceberg), she made a break for it and ventured out under her own steam as BrandScienceNY. Hard work and good fortune, but really the hard work, has earned her History Channel, A&E, Lifetime, The Brooklyn Brewery, and Planned Parenthood as clients. You might’ve even seen some her work on TV or on the subways of NYC. Typography is Hellene’s true love. Ask her why Akzidenz Grotesque is a superior font to Helvetica and you’d better have a seat.

Eric is an accomplished Web Designer and Marketing Director. With an impressive track record and extensive experience in web development and strategy, Eric has conjured compelling content for renowned brands such as DoubleTree by Hilton, Sanrio, DisneyStore. com, and Expedia.com, to name a few.

Over the span of 20+ years, Eric honed his skills with over 500 major e-commerce companies pioneering affiliate marketing then joining DoubleTree by Hilton for the Philadelphia market and The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany, NY on the Marketing side with a focus on tourism. Hospitality is his passion.

CHRIS GEORGENES

ANIMATION EXPERT

Chris brings years of experience in the field of visual storytelling as an animator, published author, and educator specializing in Adobe products. Chris’ career path has been a fun series of straightaways, twists, and turns working on animated shows for major networks, the internet, and mobile gaming which led to being a featured speaker at several tech and design conferences around the world. Chris has been a popular livestreamer for the Adobe Creative Channel is an active member of the Adobe Community Experts program and works closely with their engineering team to help develop their flagship animation software. When Chris isn’t brandishing a stylus, he’s swinging drumsticks on any given weekend for a variety of bands and venues.

Glenn is a brand manager and business developer with a special knack-going-on-expertness in e-commerce and product creation and deployment. More than 20 years in publishing and brand marketing—The Onion, The Village Voice, The Brooklyn Brewery, Cannon—have only made him more excited for the future of innovative storytelling and community building. He’s also quite proud to have co-created the world’s greatest empty box.
